Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa presented a Vote on Account (VoA) to Parliament this morning (27) which will cover Government expenses for the final four months of 2020.
The Rs 1.7 trillion (Rs 1700 billion) VoA covers Government expenses from September 1 to December 31.
The Government hopes to raise Rs 1.3 trillion of the funds through loans obtained locally and from overseas.
Parliament will hold a two-day debate on the VoA today and tomorrow.
