Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for Norway and Britain tonight, the PM's office confirmed.
The PM is expected to hold bilateral discussions with senior Norwegian government officials on improving trade ties and increasing cooperation between the two nations especially in the fisheries industry.
The Prime Minister will then leave for Britain upon an invitation extended by British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Bilateral discussions will be held in areas of mutual interest between the premiers of both countries.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to the island, on October 10.
