PNB arrests 53-year old with Rs 60 million worth heroin
A 53-year old was arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) yesterday (Jan 16) over the possession of heroin worth Rs 60 million.
The arrest was made in the Kothalawala area while the suspect was transporting over five kilograms of heroin in a thrishaw.
The PNB will seek a detention order of seven days in order to carry out further investigations, when the suspect is produced before the Kaduwela Magistrates Court today.
