A Poacher was shot dead by wildlife officials inside the Yala National park today evening a official said. He was shot when Wildlife Department officials and poachers exchanged gun fire when a group of Poachers were found hunting within the reserve. An officer claimed that the poachers opened fired on wildlife officials when they were found. The official claimed that several had been injured during the shooting. Yala National park was closed for a Months time for renovations from September 07 to October 07. A Police investigation is Underway.
