In order to curb the COVID pandemic that is once again prevalent in the society, informative campaigns to educate the public who frequent the Nikaweratiya town have been instigated by the police, Office of the Nikaweratiya Police Headquarters said.
Several police teams, including a team of officers from the Nikaweratia Police Headquarters, were seen today (8) educating the public to comply with health guidelines at the Nikaweratiya bus stand.
The police advised the public that they would take strict action against people who break the rules, and requested the public to give their maximum support to curb this pandemic situation.
