Police officer injured in Kataragama shooting

A police constable attached to the Tangalle Police station has been shot and injured in Kataragama this morning (21). 

The injured officer is being treated at the Hambantota Hospital. 

The latest incident is the third such shooting in less than 48 hours. Two men were killed and a woman injured in two separate shooting incidents at Armour Street and Athurugiriya on Monday (19).
