Police officers killed in Dematagoda raid receive posthumous promotions
The Sub Inspector, and two Police Constables who were killed during a raid at a house in Dematagoda yesterday (April 21) have received posthumous promotions, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
Accordingly, the Sub-Police Inspector has been posthumously promoted as an Inspector while the two constables have been promoted to the ranks of Sergeants.
