Police have commenced investigations into the death of an individual who was stabbed in Ambalangoda last night.
The stabbing is reported to have occured when the victim at his residence in Polwaththa.
It is reported that two persons had carried out the stabbing before fleeing the area following the incident.
Accordingly, police have commenced a search operation to arrest the suspects who have been identified.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year old Dimuthu Rukmal.
