Any person found on roads and byroads without service or authorised IDs during curfew times will be arrested and charged, Police Spokesman SP Jaliya Senaratne warned.
He further said police will henceforth take steps to check the temperature of all such individuals and if they are found to be suffering from fever, will direct them to a hospital after being taken into custody.
