A special search operation will be launched by the Police today (Jan 01) in a bid to seize illegal firearms in the country.
The search operation will be carried out for a period of three months starting from today.
Accordingly, police personnel will be deployed to carry out the search which is being conducted under the directives of Police Chief Pujith Jayasundara.
