The Police will take swift measures to remove any vehicles if deemed to obstruct movement and hamper security during this festive season.
Issuing a press release, the police said that vehicles parked haphazardly on the main road and those parked on pavements were inconveniencing commuters and as such steps would be taken to have them removed.
The release also noted that according to sub-sections 167 (4) and (5) of the Motor Vehicle Act of 1984, the Police was authorised to remove such vehicles.
