A group of politicians and religious clergy have addressed a letter to the Vavuniya District Secretary's office seeking the removal of 38 Pakistani refugees from the area.
The refugees had been brought to a rehabilitation centre of former LTTE cadres in the Poonthoddam area in Vavuniya on May 17.
The letter to the District Secretary had requested that the refugees be removed from the area before any major issue arises due to this reason.
