A stretch of road along the Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha in Battaramulla has caved in following heavy rains earlier today.
The Police Media Unit said traffic along the road from Palam Thuna Junction towards Parliament has been restricted to the right lane.
Power outages have also been reported.
