President congratulates new Pakistan PM Imran Khan
President Maithripala Sirisena congratulated newly sworn in Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi on his election to the high office expressing hopes that during his tenure of office, it will help steer his country towards peace, stability and prosperity.
Issuing a congratulatory message, President Sirisena noted that two countries enjoy close and cordial relations that have grown over the years, with potential for further advancement of bilateral partnership.
