President Maithripala Sirisena has convened an emergency cabinet meeting which is set to take place this evening.
It is reported that the ministers have been informed to attend the meeting at 7:30 pm.
However, certain ministers said that they did not have any knowledge as to why the meeting has been called for this evening.
