President Maithripala Sirisena has expressed his objection towards forming of a national government by incorporating the sole SLMC parliamentarian into the government.
Addressing the 71st Independence Day celebrations today (Feb 04), the President said that he has failed to eradicate corruption since 2015 despite managing to eliminate terrorism in the country.
He added that the value of Sri Lanka must not be undermined in the face of other Asian nations.
Mr. Sisirena also emphasised that special attention must be drawn towards developing an enriched economy in the country.
