Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has invited President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to visit Pakistan "at his earliest convenience".
The invitation had been extended when Qureshi met the President today (Dec 2), Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammed Faisal said on his Twitter handle.
“FM handed over a letter from President (Arif Alvi) to President of Sri Lanka,” the tweet read.
Faisal said bilateral issues and matters concerning trade, investment, and public relations figured during the discussion.
