President Maithripala Sirisena has arrived in New York to attend the UN summit. The President will be meeting several world leaders on the sidelines of the summit while he set to address the UN General Assembly on September 30.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
