Oshala Herath, the former co-ordinating Secretary to President Maithripala Sirisena has filed a fundamental rights petition against the latter on three counts.
The petition has been filed against the President’s decision to remove Ranil Wickramasinge from the post of Prime Minister, the move to dissolve cabinet, and the appointment of Mahinda Rajapaksa as Prime Minister.
