The Parliament has decided to hold a one day debate on President's policy statement which is scheduled to be delivered on May 8 by President Maithripala Sirisena when it reconvenes, representing all political party leaders decided following a meeting today. Accordingly, the debate has been fixed for May 10.
The Parliament is to convene on May 8 following President’s proclamation issued on April 12 proroguing Parliament.
