President to retain Law and Order Ministry until investigation of VIP assassination plot concludes

President Maithripala Sirisena has decided to retain the Ministry of Law and Order under his purview until investigations conclude on the asassination plot involving himself and the former Defence Secretary, Minister Navin Dissanayake said today (Dec 20).

Mr. Dissanayake made this statement after assuming duties as the Minister of Plantation Industries.
