The Presidential Commission probing state sector corruption has instructed the Bank of Ceylon (BOC) to provide details on the bank account of the controversial Batticaloa Campus on June 20.
The Commission today (Jun 17) instructed the Manager (Operations), of the BOC Inward Remittances Department, to submit details of funds received by the account since March 2016 till todate.
A complaint seeking an investigation into the foreign funds received by Batticaloa Campus had been filed by Thiniyawala Palitha Thero at the Commission.
The Batticaloa Campus has an account under its name at the Kollupitiya branch of the BOC, a Commission source told Times Online.
