Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe paid a visit today (June 29) to assess the progress being made to reconstruct the Zion Church in Batticaloa which was among the churches that came under the Easter Sunday attacks.
The Prime Minister's Office said that Mr Wickremesinghe had inquiried into the progress of the reconstruction work of the church being carried out by Army personnel.
The Prime Minister also conveyed his gratitude to the military personnel who have been involved in the rebuilding of the church.
