Minister Johnston Fernando has ordered an inquiry into several machines left unattended by Road Development Authority workers since the change in government.
The machinery used in road construction work, and valued at millions of rupees, were found to be in a usable condition, upon being inspected by ministry officials.
Accordingly, minister Fernando has instructed to use such machines for future projects, while also conducting an inquiry into the matter.
