UPDATE : A group of six UNP parliamentarians handed over a motion seeking the suspension of the budgetary allowance for Prime Minister Rajapaksa's office.
A proposal to cut down the budgetary allowance for the Prime Minister's office was forwarded at the party leaders meeting held today (Nov 19).
MP Patali Champika Ranawaka, speaking to media said that the matter will be taken up again in this regard on November 29 since the MPs wanted five days to consider the proposal.
Accordingly, the proposal has been entered in the Order Book and will be taken up for vote on November 29
