Rail services between Kandy and Matale to be suspended for three days
Rail services between Kandy and Matale will be suspended for three days starting from October 25, due to maintenance work, the Railways Department said.
Accordingly, trains will not be in operation between 8 am on October 25 until 4 am on October 28.
Meanwhile, train services between Trincomalee and Batticaloa remain interrupted after a train plying towards Batticaloa had derailed in the Aukana area.
