State Ministers Palitha Range Bandara and Wasantha Senanayaka said they will vote against the No-Confidence Motion (NCM) on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The Ministers made the statement during a special media briefing held in Parliament a short while ago.
The two had been among the United National Party (UNP) MPs who were among the most vocal in their opposition to Premier Wickremesinghe's conduct as leader of the UNP.
MP Range Bandara at one point, stated that some 27 UNP MPs were ready to vote for the NCM if there was no change in the UNP leadership and party reforms were not enacted urgently.
The UNP leadership has pledged that party reforms will follow immediately after the NCM.
