Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has arrived at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) probing state sector corruption.
He is due to give evidence over a complaint concerning the storage of paddy at the Mattala International Airport.
Former Paddy Marketing Board Chairman M. Bandara who gave evidence last week, told the Commission that 4000 metric tonnes of paddy had been stored at the Mattala Airport upon receiving cabinet approval.
He alleged that Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe through a telephone call, had advised him to carry out the process.
Wickremesinghe was due to give evidence before the PCoI on October 18, but had his testimony rescheduled citing certain events in Jaffna.
