Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is expected to resign from his position tomorrow (Nov 20), sources said.
This decision had been made during Wickremesinghe's meeting with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa this evening.
According to sources, the resignation would pave the way for the appointment of a 15-member caretaker cabinet by the President till the General Elections are held.
