Ranil pledges to continue consensual politics
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today said that he was inviting all political parties to work together by reaching consensus to continue ‘Good Governance’,
We cannot reverse the achievement gained on January 8, Mr Wickremesinghe making a statement to the media at the Temple Trees said.
He said, the public have endorsed the Good Governance plan put in place after the January Presidential elections.
“Everyone come together. Think of the people. We can achieve unity if we come together. We will not allow to go back to back to divisive politics’, he said.
Mr Wickremesinghe, later told Journalists that he would be sworn in as the prime Minister soon after the National Lists are approved by the Commissioner of Elections.
