Ven. Rathana Thera also attending Parliament

Parliamentarian Venerable Athuraliye Rathana Thera too is attending today's Parliament sittings and is currently sitting in the Opposition benches in Parliament. 

Rathana Thera, who remains independent in Parliament, had earlier offered his support to the UPFA after the appointment of Mahinda Rajapaksa as Prime Minister. 

Rathana Thera and MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe are both attending Parliament sittings today despite the decision by the UPFA led Governing faction to boycott today's sittings.
