Rathupaswala shooting: Suspects further remanded

Four suspects including Brigadier Deshapriya Gunawardena, who are in remand custody over the shooting of protesters in Rathupaswala in 2013, were remanded again till June 28 today after being produced before the Gampaha Magistrate's Court. 

The suspects are accused of being involved in the shooting deaths of three persons when the army clashed with protesters in Rathupaswala on August 1, 2013.
