The findings of the committee appointed to probe into the alleged harassment of Angunukolapelassa prison inmates will be submitted to Minister Thalatha Athukorale today (Jan 21).
Meanwhile, it is reported that the Prisons Department has identified the individual who had handed over the CCTV footage of the harassment to a third party source.
The individual has been identified as a controller at the prison's CCTV monitoring unit and is alleged to have sold the footage for more than Rs 100,000 to the third party, prison sources claim.
