Resolution to absorb "Port City Colombo" to Colombo Administrative District presented to Parliament
The Government today (23) presented a resolution in Parliament to alter the limits of the administrative district of Colombo by including the reclaimed land of "Port City Colombo."
The resolution under the Administrative Districts Act was moved by Minister of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government Wajira Abeywardena.
The reclaimed area of land containing in extent of 446.6153 hectares will be annexed to the Divisional Secretary's Division of Colombo in the Administrative District of Colombo.
