Rifkan Bathiutheen, brother of former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen was remanded by Colombo Chief Magistrate till February 6 over forged land deal.
Earlier he was summoned by Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to record a statement over a 40 perch land deal worth Rs 24 million in Mannar-Talaimannar area. He was remanded after CID arrested him and produced before the courts earlier today.
