The road from Kinsey Junction towards Carey College will be made one-way on all weekdays from 7 am to 8 pm in abid to ease traffic congestion, police said.
Vehicles travelling from Kyngsey road towards Carey College junction could travel to Maradana and Borella via Kyngsey Place and Ward Place.
The special traffic plan has been implemented to facilitate more vehicles coming into Colombo, the police headquarters said.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
