A robbery took place today at the residence of Sri Lanka's High Commissioner to Pakistan due to a major security lapse, international media reported.
Accordingly, the SL High Commission has lodged a complaint with the police, citing that brass lamps and bathroom taps worth Rs 70,000 have been stolen from the residence.
Security officials have launched an investigation to nab the culprits, the report added.
