Newly appointed Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has appointed Rohan Weliwita for the post of Prime Minister's Media Secretary.
Mr. Rajapaksa is slated to take up duties as Prime Minister today.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
