Rough waves building up along the Kalutara estuary
Following the deepening of the Kalutara lagoon estuary with sand reef between the lagoon and the seas being washed away residents in the area are fearful of the incoming sea water.
Owing to the current weather conditions unsettling waves have continued to come inwards affecting vegetation in the surrounding area as well as the environment.
