An 84-member team comprising 68 Cadets and 16 senior officers from SAARC countries met Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake at the Army Headquarters yesterday (October 25).
The cadets from Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal and Pakistan during their stay in Sri Lanka visited the National Cadet Corps Headquarters at Rantembe and participated in the Herman Loos Trophy, organized by Sri Lankan Cadets, attached to Rantambe.
Towards the conclusion of the meeting, they presented symbolic mementos to the Commander as tokens of goodwill and memory.
