United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) parliamentarian Sajin de Vass Gunawardena was further remanded till September 22 by Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage today. Earlier he was charged over the misuse of 23 vehicles belonging to the Presidential Secretariat.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
