The manager of the Sanasa Bank in Pinnawela, Balangoda was arrested yesterday (Aug 6) after going missing with funds worth more than Rs 100 million.
The police superintendent of Ratnapura stated that complaints had been received against the bank manager who is reported to have gone missing in November last year.
However, the 48-year-old, suspect had been arrested in Balangoda during a search operation carried out by the police. The suspect is currently being questioned by the Pinnawela police.
