Minister Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka appeared before the CID to provide a statement with regard to the abduction and assault of Journalist Keith Noyahr in 2008.
This is the second time that Mr Fonseka has appeared before the CID with regard to the incident.
So far, Former Military Intelligence Chief, Major General (Retired) Amal Karunasekara and Former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa have provided statements before the CID with regard to the incident.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
