The Principal of Anula Devi Girls' School in Galle who was arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 100,000 to admit a grade one student was ordered to be further remanded until March 5 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today (Feb 20) made the order when the case was taken up for hearing.
The Principal was arrested by the Bribery Commission while accepting a bribe from a parent to admit a child to a grade one class.
