School children given tour of Palali airport

A group of school children from families recently resettled in lands released from the Palali High Security Zone were given a tour of the Palali airport on October 1 to mark World Children's Day. The event was organized by the security forces on a concept by Jaffna Security Forces Commander Major General Mahesh Senanayake. 

School children from Nelliadi and Karaveddi were given the opportunity to tour the Palali airport as part of this program. Security forces said the event was organized as part of the initiative to promote goodwill among the security forces and civilians.
