Part of the entrance to the Katunayake-Expressway has been closed off until October 4, owing to repair work underway at the new Kelani bridge, Police said.
Police in a statement said that a section, 2 meters in width and 200meters in distance, from the starting point of the expressway on the lane for traffic heading towards Katunayake, will be closed from 10.00am today (Sept 20).
An Attorney at law and his wife was shot dead in the car park of a super market in Akuregoda today evening.
