Section of Muthuwella Mawatha to be closed off from tonight

The road between St James junction until De La Salle junction along Muthuwella Mawatha will be closed off from 10 pm today (Jul 26) until 5 am tomorrow, Police said.

Accordingly, the general public has been advised to use the following alternative routes during this time period.

Vehicles entering Colombo: Enter Aluthmawatha Road by taking a left turn from St James Junction.
Vehicles leaving Colombo: Enter Aluthmawatha Road through Ibbagewatte junction.

Police said that the road would be closed for traffic due to a water pipe laying project.
