Security forces carried out a search operation at a house which once belonged to arrested Kurunegala hospital doctor Mohamed Shafi, in Kalawewa yesterday (May 29).
However, no suspicious items were discovered at the residence which is believed to be one of the initial residences owned by the suspect, security forces said.
Meanwhile, statements have been recorded from the father of Dr. Shafi and his relatives as well, Police noted.
