The selling rate of the Sri Lankan rupee to a US Dollar hit a record high of 178.10 rupees today (Nov 15) according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The selling price sky-rocketed following the political uncertainity prevailing in the country.
The CBSL also noted that the buying rate stands at 174.17 rupees as of today.
