Services at the St. Sebastian's Church in Katuwapitiya re-commenced today (May 12), three weeks following the Easter Sunday terror attacks last month.
Today's service was the first to be held from among the Churches where the explosions had occoured.
Meanwhile, a progress review meeting on the restoration of the St. Sebastian's Church, St. Anthony's Church and the Zeon Church had taken place under the auspicies of Cardinal Malcom Ranjith, the Ministry of Housing and Reconstruction said.
The restoration of the St. Anthony's Church in Kotahena is taking place under two phases.
